2017 San Jose Flood

After years of drought, Silicon Valley was recently hit with the worst storm in decades. Some areas of San Jose were hard hit when Coyote Creek couldn’t handle over 2.5 million gallons of water per minute.

Over 14,000 people had to evacuate, and no one know the full extent of the flood damage to the city. BrickRecycler.com has already donated some money to help residents, and we are donating supplies to help with immediate needs. We are actively collecting new and used Lego pieces. We are contacting local agencies to see how we can help bring a sense of normality to the lives of those affected.

We already donated some money to help with the relief, and will be buying and donating supplies that are needed in the short term including: jackets, backpacks, baby supplies, etc. Brick Recycler will always be collecting Legos, but we aren’t collecting financial donations or other nonLego items.
